Available reporting on other ports suggests there is no single performance template. Some demanding games are targeting or landing at 30fps, especially when pushing higher image quality or advanced effects. Others are reaching 60fps, sometimes at lower internal resolutions, with dynamic scaling, or with more selective visual compromises. The confirmed features are clear: the Switch 2 version is out now, crossplay with Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox is planned to arrive in a few weeks alongside Season 18, and Nintendo players can transfer their existing save data to Switch 2 through their Nintendo Account. Existing DLC and Year Pass purchases on Nintendo also carry over for eligible users. That save transfer, however, is not the same as cross-progression. It only covers moving progress within Nintendo’s ecosystem, from Switch to Switch 2. Nothing in the announcement says players will be able to carry a profile between Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, which is what fans usually mean by cross-progression. So the practical answer is that crossplay is coming, but cross-progression remains unannounced. Unless Saber and Focus provide a separate update, players should assume their progress will stay tied to their platform family rather than sync across all systems.
