Square Enix said Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is now coming to the original Nintendo Switch, adding a native release after earlier Switch entries were offered only via cloud streaming.
The collection bundles four playable games—Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and Birth by Sleep Final Mix—plus HD cutscene compilations for 358/2 Days and Re:coded.
Starting June 9, the company is discontinuing four cloud products on Switch: HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind and Integrum Masterpiece.
Players who already bought those cloud versions will still be able to access them, and Square Enix said it will offer an upgrade path for the native Switch and Switch 2 versions.
The move follows earlier news that the full back catalog is headed to Switch 2 and that Kingdom Hearts 4 has also been announced for Nintendo's new system.
