Summary
At Tribeca Grill, Chanel’s annual Tribeca Artists Dinner turned illustrator Pepe Muñoz’s live portrait studio into a focal point, with Ayo Edebiri, Robert De Niro, Sofia Coppola and Julia Louis-Dreyfus among guests posing.
The dinner celebrated the Tribeca Festival’s 25th anniversary and Chanel’s artists program, which for more than 20 years has paired artists with the festival to create original works for winning filmmakers.
Knicks fever ran through the room as Teyana Taylor rushed from the dinner to Game 3 at Madison Square Garden, the game played on screens, and Chanel served blue-and-orange cookies and packed Knicks hats into gift bags.
The event also marked a soft return for Tribeca Grill, which closed in March 2025 after 35 years; De Niro, Ira Drukier and Major Food Group plan a new restaurant there in 2027.
