Blizzard Patches Diablo 4 Exploits Before May 26 Update, Ending Infinite Loot Goblins

Patch 3.0.3 arrives May 26 and closes Diablo 4 exploits that let players use War Plans to spawn effectively infinite loot goblins or repeatedly summon the Amalgam of Rage boss.
The goblin trick abused the Gauntlet node to recapture shrine-affected enemies, then respawn them alongside self-splitting Gelatinous Syrus goblins—sometimes creating hundreds at once and overwhelming item drops.
Blizzard also removed other player-favoring bugs, including double-transferring the same aspect and equipping multiple unique charms, while fixing Obol rewards, Grim Favors from Duriel replacing the Blood Maiden, and Pit-end Obelisk spawns.
Several progression blockers are being cleared, including a missing bridge in the 'Death' story mission, soft-locks in 'The Initiate,' and a Vessel of Hatred side quest that still required an Elixir after Elixirs were removed.
The patch contains no class balance changes, suggesting Blizzard is largely satisfied with current builds ahead of a developer Q&A set for May 28 on the Diablo Discord.
With major loot exploits patched, will Diablo's next update address its 'unremarkable' and 'underperforming' Mercenary system?
Beyond just patching bugs, how is Blizzard redesigning its core systems to prevent the next 'infinite loot' exploit from ever emerging?
Class balance was untouched in the exploit patch, but is the current Lord of Hatred meta truly as stable as Blizzard believes?
