Kansas captured the Big 12 tournament championship with a 9-0 rout of West Virginia on Saturday, ending a 20-year wait for a conference baseball title.
The shutout capped a dominant run through the single-elimination bracket after the Jayhawks beat Baylor 8-7 in 10 innings and Oklahoma State 9-2.
West Virginia reached the final by knocking off Kansas State 4-2 and Arizona State 7-3, but was overmatched in the title game.
Elsewhere Saturday, Oregon advanced to the Big Ten final with wins over Washington and Nebraska, while Georgia Tech and North Carolina set the ACC final and Georgia and Arkansas reached the SEC championship.
