Sony’s new Reon Pocket Pro Plus adds 2°C of cooling versus the 2025 model, using a neck-worn Peltier device that can also warm skin by several degrees.
A redesigned neckband aims to improve contact and cooling strength, while an adjustable upper exhaust and a separate temperature-humidity tag help the device tune performance automatically.
Battery life is rated at 5.5 hours on the highest cooling setting after a two-hour charge, stretching to as much as 34 hours at the lowest setting; controls work through onboard buttons or a mobile app.
The wearable is already on sale in Asian markets including Singapore for S$349, with U.K. and European sales planned; earlier reports put pricing there at £199 and €229, while a U.S. launch appears unlikely.
