Fareham Council Approves 22,445-Sqm Welborne Employment Park Phase 1

Nine commercial units totaling 22,445 sqm won planning approval from Fareham Borough Council in the first phase of Welborne’s employment park.
The scheme is intended to add jobs and business space alongside the growing Welborne Garden Village, where the first homes are already occupied.
Plans also include access roads, footpaths and cycleways, with a bus rapid transit route intended to link the site to Fareham and support commuting.
The approval adds to wider infrastructure work at Welborne, including M27 Junction 10 motorway upgrades that are due to finish later this year.
