Two explosions at May Ship Repair on Friday killed a subcontractor and injured dozens after a dock under construction caught fire, according to the family that owns the Staten Island yard.
Fire and police investigators were back at the site Saturday examining what caused the blasts, while the company said it was cooperating fully.
Just before 3:30 p.m., the yard called 911 and activated safety protocols after the first explosion, executive vice president Nadia Adam said.
