Jack Osbourne said on Instagram that he weighs 155 pounds and is healthy, pushing back after reports described him as “grossly underweight” and “sick.”
The 40-year-old said his weight has not changed since filming “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” six months ago, arguing the main difference is that he shaved his beard.
Osbourne said the change is part of a 3 1/2-year weight-loss effort from about 220 pounds, adding he has long been criticized by the press first for being overweight and now for being thinner.
The backlash echoes similar scrutiny facing the family: sister Kelly Osbourne recently posted abusive comments about her appearance after the BRIT Awards and said she would not be “dehumanized” online.
