May 27 is the launch date for RayNeo’s new GT series, led by the GT Max, a premium AR glasses line aimed at “professional film and television-grade” viewing rather than everyday lightweight use.
59 degrees of field of view marks the headline hardware jump, up from the roughly 45-degree movie-viewing norm, with RayNeo saying its Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max can simulate a 267-inch screen viewed from six meters.
Dolby Vision support comes when the glasses are paired with the RayNeo Magic Box 2 Dolby Vision Edition, which the company says makes it the first AR glasses kit capable of Dolby Vision playback.
Dual chips — Vision 4000 for image processing and Zone 360 for spatial computing — add native 3DoF hovering, follow and fixed modes, while Bang & Olufsen-tuned quad speakers provide spatial audio with 360-degree head tracking.
At 78 grams, the GT Max adds wider FOV and richer audio without a major weight jump; RayNeo is also expected to unveil its AI-powered V4 shooting glasses at the same TCL Chinese Theatre event.
