Legacy of the Dark Knight is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version due later.
TT Games says the fourth Lego Batman title overhauls core play with richer combat, upgraded gadgets, deeper enemy variety and markedly improved grappling, gliding and vehicle traversal.
The game also leans heavily into Batman canon, pulling weapons, vehicles and costume references from films, the 1960s TV series, Batman: The Animated Series and Rocksteady’s Arkham games.
Jonathan Smith said DC Comics imposed no major restrictions, letting the studio blend decades of material while keeping the darker crime story accessible and family-friendly in Lego form.
TT Games frames the release as its most comprehensive Batman adaptation yet, taking players from Bruce Wayne’s origin to Batman’s legend across a more immersive Lego Gotham City.
