Trump spent Friday and Saturday posting a string of seemingly AI-generated images, including a Middle East map with Iran covered by a U.S. flag, a repeated “Hello, Greenland” image and a caricature calling Rep. Ro Khanna a “dumocrat” and “sleazebag.”
The posts tracked live political flashpoints: Iran’s image appeared after negotiators rejected a U.S. compromise, while the Greenland posts revived Trump’s push to acquire the autonomous Danish territory for security and missile-defense purposes.
Trump also shared a “Golden Dome” graphic covering only the White House grounds and an AI video showing him dumping outgoing “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert into a dumpster hours after Colbert’s final broadcast.
Greenland remains a live geopolitical issue for Trump, who has pressed the island since returning to office in 2025 even as Denmark and Greenland reject U.S. demands and closed-door talks since January have yet to yield a deal.
